Women in Management Announces July Kick Off Meeting and Breakfast

MCHENRY, IL:  Women in Management of McHenry County announces their 2013 kick off meeting, Thursday July 18 from 7:30-9am at 31 North Banquets, 217 N Front St, McHenry IL. 

July represents the start-up of a new year for WIM Board, and President Karen Franzen will be speaking on Leadership and Managing Change. Franzen, owner of LaCuna Vinea, notes “Great leaders are change agents.  They have a clear understanding of the change process and how to effectively operate in it.  How do you handle change?  Who are you in the midst of change?”  Her presentation will explore the elements of the change process, as well as help participants identify their strengths and weaknesses in how they navigate change.

The mission of Women in Management is to promote the professionalism of our members through education, development, encouragement and mentoring; to promote the growth of our organization to bring these services to other women, and to encourage growth, networking and quality within our chapters.  Breakfast meetings are held the third Thursday of each month from 7:30 until 9:00am at 31 North, 217 N. Front St, McHenry, IL.
