Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the U.S. and the number one cause of dsability. Each year 780,0000 Americans experience a stroke. Anyone can have a stroke, but your chances for having one increase if you have certain risk factors including many modifiable behaviors like smoking and obesity. Barry Biskshorn, M.D., from Northwest Neurology, will discuss stroke and what can be done to prevent it. You’ll also learn how to recognize if someone is having a stroke.
