SleepOut for Shelter - Fun-Raiser Providing Hope for the Homeless

May 12, 2012 - 6PM on-site registration. 7PM rally starts. The evening will kick off with a one hour rally. The rally is an awareness vigil that will deliver the hard facts about homelessness and motivational mission-moments?success stories and testimonials.

Description
Event participants will spend the night outside in tents, boxes or cars to raise awareness and money for McHenry County PADS. McHenry County PADS is the largest provider of shelter and services to the county’s men, women and families who have found themselves facing homelessness. Through the collection of pledges for spending one night...eight hours outside the comfort of their home, participants will experience homelessness.
