Safe Car Clinic for Seniors

Faith in Action of McHenry County is sponsoring “Safe Car Clinics” for all local seniors and Faith in Action volunteers on Tuesday, August 4 from 9 – 11 a.m. at B&B Auto, 913 N. Front Street in McHenry and at Huntley Collision Center, 11914 E. Main in Huntley. Faith in Action’s board members will wash your car’s windows while the professionals conduct a free 10 point safety inspection, including tires, fluid levels, belts and brakes.  Refreshments will be provided.  No appointment is necessary. 

Faith in Action provides volunteer services to help support independent living for residents of McHenry County 60 years and over who live in their homes or with loved ones.  Services are provided at no charge, and include transportation, shopping, friendly visits, respite for caretakers, light housekeeping and light yard cleanup.   To inquire about services for yourself or a family member, or volunteer for Faith in Action, call (815) 455-3120 or visit www.fiamchenrycounty.org.
