Merry Cary Parade Location and Instructions

Merry Cary Parade line up begins at 12 noon down Wulff Street. The street will be numbered 1 to 50 on the right side and 51 to 100 on th left side. Wulff Street will be one way during the parade.

Vehicles dropping off parade participants should head south on Briargate Road to Glen Garry Road. Proceed east on Glen Garry to Wulff Street and drop off participants at the corner. The streets will be marked.

The parade kicks off at 1 p.m. and heads down W. Main Street into the downtown area, turning at Jandus Road. The parade ends at Jandus Road and Cary Street. Participants are encouraged to stay downtown and enjoy the holiday activities.

Merry Cary Holiday Parade & Celebration

Join thousands of area residents to celebrate the holiday season at the annual Merry Cary Holiday Parade down W. Main Street on Sunday, December 2. The parade begins at 1 p.m., followed by festivities in downtown Cary, including a Children’s train, wagon rides by the Cary Grove Rotary, a petting Zoo, pony rides, free photos with Santa at Cary Travel Express, Dickens style carolers and more. There’s food and festivity and special events throughout the downtown. The event is coordinated by the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Cary.

Applications for community groups and organizations, girl scouts and boy scouts, churches, local business and others who want to participate in the parade are available through the Chamber. Some downtown outdoor booth space and openings for entertainment are also available. Call the Chamber office at (847) 639-2800.
