Job Seminar at FRG Library - 2nd in Series of 4

The Fox River Grove Memorial Library, located at 407 Lincoln Avenue, is offering a job-seeker seminar, for those looking to increase their chances of landing a job in a difficult job market.  Jim Pacholski of the McHenry County Workforce Network will conduct each session.  This is the second of four sessions, "What Is A Portfolio?" on Thursday, September 23, will dissect this much overlooked but critical tool in the job search process; "Your Interview" on Wednesday, September 29, will provide information on what questions to ask, what cannot be asked, how to dress, and when to inquire about salary; "Does Age Discrimination Exist?" on Thursday, September 30, will teach participants how to combat this problem. Each seminar begins at 7:00 p.m.  Register in advance for each seminar by stopping in the library or calling during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed on Sunday.  For information, visit www.frgml.lib.il.us or call (847) 639-2274.
