Jimmy Nick Jimmy Nick & Don?t Tell Mama January 9 @ 8:30p (Doors Open at 8) $15 General Admission ($20 At Door) Jimmy Nick is an old fashioned, guitar-slinging blues prodigy who was developing his chops in famous Chicago clubs when he was only sixteen. Growing out of the tradition found in the Kingston Mines, Rosa?s Lounge, and B.L.U.E.S. on Halstead, Jimmy Nick combines boundless energy and a dominating stage presence. Jimmy Nick is a force that is taking the Chicago club and blues scene by storm. During this short time, Jimmy has won the Chicago Blues Guitar Slinger Challenge (2013), the Illinois Blues Challenge (2012), and has opened for blues and rock legends like John Mayall, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Nick Moss, and Ted Nugent. Backed by his band Don?t Tell Mama, which includes Lowell Todd (bass) and Joel Baer (drums), Jimmy Nick combines his massive talent and stage theatrics with electrifying rock, rhythm and blues for one of the best live shows around.
