Description
Join us for the Chicago premier of a contemporary Russian one-man play by Yuri Kladieve. Bare witness as a young Russian gang member tries to find the same honor in his street battles that his grandfather found fighting Germany in WWII.
This masculine and powerful performance by acclaimed actor James Knight matches the poetic and vulgar translation by John Freedman. This is a co-production with Raue's new production company, Williams Street Repertory Theatre, U of MD and the Center for International Theater Development.
