Do Something Good for your Heart
Description
FOR WOMEN ONLY...Attend this special heart screening and lecture just for women and learn your cardiac risk! Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, in partnership with the women legislators of Illinois, is offering free cardiac risk assessments to help you care for your heart. Please note these are non-fasting screenings sl fasting is not necessary. Each screening will include total cholesterol (including HDL), blood pressure and weight to determine your cardiac risk number and counseling with a cardiac nurse. Registration is required. Follow up lecture: "Understanding and Improving Your Cardiac Health Status" at Good Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness Center, 1301 S. Barrington Rd., Barrington on Thursday, February 26, 6:30-8 p.m.
