Children's Health and Safety Fair

State Representative Michael Tryon is hosting the “Children’s Health and Safety Fair” on Sunday, July 25 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Safety Town in Lake in The Hills, located next to the Lake in the Hills Police Station at 1115 Crystal Lake Road.  Families with young kids are invited to have fun while learning bike safety and health tips.   Tryon recently diagnosed with diabetes, wants to stress the importance of exercise and healthy eating.  The fair will focus on incorporating health and safety lessons into everyday activities. Activities include a parade around Safety Town, a community-style cookout, and various contests and races with prizes for all kids.  Bike safety and health tips will be presented by the Lake in the Hills Police Department.
