Cinderella….the Ballet
A lovely but raggedy Cinderella covered with soot and ashes is banished to the hearth in the kitchen, no more than a servant girl in her own house.  Her step sisters are excited and preparing for the ball by receiving a special dance lesson from a courtier instructor in hopes of being the Prince’s Partner. They are busy dressing in their finest silks and tulle preparing for their class.  A hungry old beggar woman arrives and Cinderella invites her in and offers her a piece of bread.  The step sisters not wanting an interruption in their lesson throw the poor woman out! The old crone turns out to the beautiful Fairy Godmother who appears after the step sisters leave. With the magic of her wand she calls forth the Fairies of the Seasons to dress Cinderella as she will be attending the ball!  Cinderella and the prince will marry and live happily ever after…
