DESCRIPTION:The Cary Lions Club is sponsoring the Lions of Illinois Hearing Van on Monday\,  June 7 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.  The Hearing Van is offering free hearing test in the parking lot of Jewel in Cary on Rt #14. The hearing screening takes about 10 minutes.  No appointments necessary. A certified technician will provide written test results for your records. There are many causes of hearing loss.  40% over the age of 65 and 80% over the age of 85 experience hearing loss\, but hearing loss often begins much earlier and goes unnoticed. Whether we lose our hearing suddenly or gradually over time\, hearing loss can leave you feeling isolated from friends and family.  If you have hearing loss\, you may not be aware of it\, especially in the early stages. You or your family and friends may notice that you're having occasional difficulty understanding what others are saying or need to increase the volume in order to hear well. Diagnosed early\, hearing loss in usually easier to address medically.  Take a few minutes to see if you may have early stages of hearing loss so you can hear what you are missing.
