DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Cary Area Public Library (FOCAL)  is having its annual Spring used book sale on Saturday\, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday\, May 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Cary Area Public Library\, 1606 Three Oaks Road.  Books\, CD's\, DVD's and more will be available at bargain prices. COME EARLY! There's something for everyone at this popular event!\nProceeds from the book sales are used to purchase items for the library. Also\, on Saturday\, May 22\, the Heartland Blood Centers will have their mobile coach parked in the library's parking lot for blood donations from 9:30 a.m. to1:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended\, but walk-ins are welcome.\nIn addition\, Animal House Shelter (a no-kill shelter in Huntley) will be available for adoptions and donations on both May 22 and 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the library's parking lot. Wish list includes crates\, carriers\, leashes\, collars\, animal toys\, blankets\, sheets\, towels\, newspaper\, stainless steel dishes & recyclable aluminum cans.
