DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Cary Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association\, and Cary Police Department's 2026 National Night Out Event website. This is our 15th year hosting this event in Cary\, and this year's event will be held on Thursday August 6th\n\n\n\nThe First Responder portion of our event will be held in the lower Police Department parking lot area of the new Cary Municipal Center\, located at 755 Industrial Drive. Squad cars\, fire trucks\, Public Works and Township vehicles will be on display for guests to explore. Have your cameras ready for some candid moments with your family as they sit in the driver seat of a patrol car or fire engine! Meet your community first responders and be sure to stop inside the Municipal Center for a tour of the police department and village hall. There will be a police drone presentation\, K9 presentation\, LifeNet will be landing a helicopter on site and free popcorn at the police department!\n\n\n\nShould you have any questions or concerns on the date of the event\, please feel free to speak with one of our Citizen Police Academy Alumni volunteer staff members\, who will be wearing Citizen Police Academy shirts and reflective safety vests.
